About Us

Church is about participating in what God is doing, being his Body, allowing him to heal us, transform us, and use us to his glory.

At Papio Creek, we are a family committed to each other and to Jesus. When we assemble for worship, his message is preached, his Spirit is present, and his people are restored, healed, and gradually conformed into his likeness. We invite you to participate with us.

 

 

With the Living Christ

Whether we gather for Sunday worship, or in life groups during the week our prayer is always the same; that our encounter with God would truly shape who we are. Living in Christ is more than merely seeking an emotional arousal or intellectual critique. Instead, our desire is that we join those who have gone before us and submit our mind, body, and soul to the living Lord.

 

With Each Other

Whether gathering at the cafe or the Lord’s Table, we embrace one another in the unity of the Spirit. We desire to be an authentic community that shares life together, helping to take upon ourselves the burdens of our church family and the community by speaking God’s truth in love.

 

With the World

In our midst, and throughout our world, our call is clear: to look for the “harassed and helpless” so that we may incarnate Christ to them–with open pockets, ears, and arms–we pray for their restoration and invite them to new life in Christ.
